The trading post has a deli counter/breakfast bar. We bring snacks for lunch on VII. The counter is open before VII leaves, but we had breakfast at Ryans. We had a sub and soup the evening before at the Post. Ryans closes at 2:00 PM. It was good enough.

We were on IR last week July to first week August. McCargo to Chippawa. Met a couple Loon counters at Richie. They said that algae was not the toxic type. However, best to avoid. We wrap a coffee filter over water filter intake. Helps protect, prolong cleaning the msr filter. Found best fishing on L...

Just a personal thing, but I don't like the taste of water. So I like the flavor packets. Hawaiian punch, crystal light, MiO, are all good for me. I also dilute. Too bad I wasn't a member when you posted. I have been to IR 5 times. Just returned on 8/4. Caught mainly northern, with a few very small walleye. And a few perch. We have always had really good luck with large spoons - over 3" for just the spoon. Bent the barbs down or broke them off. Required...
