I make my own using maltodextrin. It melts in your mouth. I have taken it to the Isle and given it to others and they can't believe how good it tastes. I tried using maltodextrin on bacon grease, that was bad very bad.

I did the Windigo to Feldtman, Sisikwit and island mine then headed East last year. As far as Feldtman to Sisikwit it's was low hanging wet brushy trail, but then it was a very foggy time. i got the concentrate from Tractor supply and mix up about a quart at a time. Whats left I put back into a empty bottle and then retreat my clothes in a month or so. I tend to go out in the wooded areas enough that I use the stuff up that way. I have noticed it works very well.

I just picked up a pair of Gore GoreTex bicycle socks. I put them on and put my feet in a basin of water for 30 minutes and my feet were dry. They will go on my next trip, along with my blister prevention treatment kit that I just put together.
