Re: What national parks haven't you visited, but would like

Re: Suggestions for the new year
fonixmunkee - I have no suggestions, other than I can't seem to get the automatic login to automatically log me in each time. That's pretty minor. This is a great site and is a major part of our troop's planning for a July 2009 High Adventure trip. You will probably be seeing more posts from me abou...

Re: The web site hosting bill is due! Wanna help out?
I was conveniently on the island when the bill came due. However, I would like to add my thanks for what you've done with this thing. Not only has it been useful for trip planning, etc., but it keeps me going through the winter, and also gives me something to do at work. You didn't hesitate to set ...

P1000511.JPG John- What's the story behind your Cow in Washigton Creek pic? How far away were you? What kind of zoom do you have? I've enjoyed yours and everybody else's pics. Too bad I missed the moss pics (broken link). How did you get the 1.84 MB picture attached if the limit is 256 KB? Larry

Re: Submissions for PICTURE OF THE WEEK go here
Contemplation on Isle Royale: I've always liked this photo for some reason. We came off the Greenstone and were pumping water in a little stream between lakes Chickenbone and Livermore. A 13 year old boy sits quietly contemplating his future in a beautiful spot. Perhaps he is thinking about how hot ...

Re: Submissions for PICTURE OF THE WEEK go here
We came off the Greenstone and pumped water in a little stream between lakes Chickenbone and Livermore and saw this frog (or toad - can anybody help?). This little creature sat near us the entire time.

Butterflies at West Chickenbone Lake at 6:30 AM on June 26, 2002. The swarm was beautiful, but the smell was terrible. They must have been feasting on something that died.

Re: Minnesota Moose dieing off
John, Sorry for the duplication - I just sent to an email about this. My kids tell me "global warming" isn't the problem - it is "climate change." We are (hopefully) going to do another Troop 10 High Adventure trip To IR this July. It is up to the scouts to choose. If they don't ...
