The Greenwood Lake fire has grown to 4000 acres as of 8/18. There is also a new fire, the Moose Lake fire. If there was a 4000 acre fire on IR, it would be devastating.

The Greenwood fire started yesterday near the BWCA. Today the fire is over 1000 acres.
By the end of the day the fire was at 2000 acres.

According to the NPS, the fire has been contained. 15 acres in size, west of the Duncan-Tobin portage.
