Just an interesting fact that I heard from a Park Ranger on Island Royal...
Isle Royal is the least visited National Park, but has the highest percentage of return visitors

I've always tried to find statistical proof of this statement, but never have. Of course my only research was since rudimentary Google searches...
I believe half of this statement, while I think the first half should be modified...
"Isle Royale is ONE OF the least-visited National Parks, but the most revisited."
It would seem to me there are a few National Parks in Alaska that probably see less visitors on average than Isle Royale does. But the fact that it is the most revisited I think I can personally vouch for...along with many others on this very forum. Just take a look at how many times some of the posters here have revisited Isle Royale, and I think you'll get my drift...
