It was 56.00 but they charged me last years fees when I booked. They said it would likely go up a couple dollars and to pay final balance upon arrival. I paid for (2) people.

It is possible to save some money if your schedule allows you to leave Rock Harbor on a Tuesday or Thursday morning. The M.V. Sandy tour boat has a scheduled round trip for a guided hike to Lookout Louise. It leaves at 9 am on both Tuesdays and Thursdays. They openly welcome people to use it as one-way ride. Some people pack a lunch and then hike back to Rock Harbor. It's presently $38 per person so you save $20 per person up to two people. Their schedule doesn't really match the commercial ferries so you'd be spending a night in Rock Harbor. It's probably a long shot but know it's an option.

Both the water taxis and the tours are operated by the same concession.

I booked with the water taxi for $58 through the IR Rock harbor Lodge and Marina site. Can't wait!
