Balloon bed ???

Air mattress? Finally found a piece of gear to drop my summer packweight a bit more ....without sacrafic? Has anyone tried one of these? 4 ounces for a 2 inch thick air bed....around 40 bucks ...they have my attention!

No experience with them, but it sure looks like an interesting concept. Are the balloons just a regular run of the mill type? If they are, that seems like it would limit you from a durability standpoint and would mash flat to the ground at pressure points.

Many years (late '60s - early '70s) we had some air mattresses that were essentially the same design. Very light nylon cover with about 8 or 10 individual blow up "sausages". Forgot who made it.
