My current itinerary has me hiking between Todd Harbor and N Desor on August 21. This is of course the date for the highly anticipated solar eclipse. I am wondering the amount and quality of views this section of trail provides to the south, especially the Little Todd - N Desor section. Are there any truly standout points that I should aim for in order to photograph the eclipse? Thanks.


And obviously this is all highly weather dependent.

As I recall it, that section of the trail features a lot of exposed ridges, so it should be great
