Maps?

Does anybody know if there are maps of the lakes on Isle Royale? Im looking for maps that cover the depths. Thank you.

I've never seen any and would doubt anybody would have made any. These things are typically done by state natural resource depts. Inland lakes on Isle Royale are kind of in limbo, the dept of interior makes the rules, they don't stock or really encourage fishing in them, they are just there. A study several years ago on an inland lake showed little or no change over many years. Since the lakes are not managed for the resource, I see no reason for them to map them.

In the past, at least at Malone Bay, there were copies of a map of Siskiwit that were posted in the cabin.
As Malone was not staffed last year, there was one map only.

You might call the Park Service office, they may be able to help.
