early spring and bugs

We are thinking of a trip next year, early June. Are bugs usually a problem that early? thanks

Go prepared for bugs, enjoy if there are not a problem... Being early June, and as it looks like you intend
to stay in Rock Harbor near Lake Superior, you should have less problems then staying in warmer interior
at this time of year.

bugs Not bad on the west side but places have bad mosquito seem more east side of Island or by swamps low numbers on the lake.
Some black flies but not too bad.
