Anyone have any luck with a weather radio paddling the north side? Last time I did that area (2001) mine was worthless, but wondering if NOAA may have made improvements since then.

I have been able to get a report standing on the rocks above the campsite at Belle. NWS has a tower in Copper Harbor and you may get the signal from MN.
I am getting the reports on my VHF.
