I'll have my eyes peeled =) Look to the northeast.

It's usually a fair show in suburban/rural areas. Should be amazing on Isle Royale. The moon will detract from it a bit. But there is supposed to be a high pressure ridge building into the area midweek that will keep the skies clear (and dry!)

Saw them here in NE IL. Great night to view them, clear though no moon would be better!!!
IR would have been a great place to see them!!!

At my prompting last night, my wife and I went to our patio to try to see the meteor shower. Alas, the patio stay was short-lived as my wife sat on a very large pair of slugs (6 inches long each) that had climbed on our patio love seat.

Two weeks from today and we'll be at McCargoe Cove. Hoping for a slug-free opportunity to see the shower.

My daughter & I were on the island August 11-14. The evening of the 12th at Daisy Farm...after midnight I did see a few meteors on a necessity trip to the latrine.
