Search for the Ivory Billed Woodpecker ends

Post by johnhens »

Though not related to Isle Royale, thought some might want to know the search by Cornell University for the Ivory Billed Woodpecker has ended. Similar to the Pileated on IR, the Ivory Bill was thought to have been seen in AR and FL in recent years and thought to be in LA. Sad to read this.

Its a shame that we can't manage our wildlife properly and such a beautiful bird goes extinct.
