If you're like me and passed over this article thinking "it's just another regurgitation of the same old article I've read a dozen times," it's not. It has some interesting insights and is much more than so-and-so says this and so-and-so says that. And is much better written than most.

I agree. It's thoroughly researched, well-written and impartial. Thanks for calling attention to it.
First visit 1982. Last visit August, 2022. Isle Royale is my favorite National Park!
