I'll have to check if I marked that on the GPS or not.. It was perhaps .2 - .25 miles from the edge of the group sites at Malone Bay, less than 50 yds inland from shore, if memory serves. I was personally speculating if they used it to mark kill sites or something, since it just DOES seem odd...
