Do you have it's (approximate) coordinates?

I smell a government alien UFO cover-up...
I'll have to check if I marked that on the GPS or not.. It was perhaps .2 - .25 miles from the edge of the group sites at Malone Bay, less than 50 yds inland from shore, if memory serves. I was personally speculating if they used it to mark kill sites or something, since it just DOES seem odd... Maybe it IS where the alien craft delivered moose to the Island...

Tom,
Thanks for taking the time to write a good TR!!
The pics are great.
For all the folks going there, not too many TR's, kind of disappointing.
Sounds like you had a great trip. How many of the survey markers do you have?

Man, this makes me want to get out to Isle Royale...no trip for me this spring (first time in six years), but I'm hoping for a fall trip. Nay, I *WILL* do a fall trip.

Thanks for sharing, Tom!
