Is this a doable backpacking plan? Any input would be greatly valued! We want to try and make the most of first trip. :mrgreen:

Be careful going down to Malone Bay. I almost got lost two or three times going toward Malone last summer. The trail didn't appear to be used too much last year. If you are in good shape you probably can do you it. (Last year wolves ran through Hatchet and woke me up with their evening chants.)

Thanks for the reply, is there a lot of rock on this trail, or just overgrown?

As I recall it was wild with growth in places. Coming off the Greenstone Ridge it had some rocky places and those were the areas you need to pay attention in order not to get lost. Never came across anyone on that trail.
