Here's some really good news for the Rock of Ages lighthouse. Needless to say, I'll be signing up as a volunteer.

Also didn't even know that this preservation group existed:

I signed up as a volunteer, and apparently got accepted. My wife and I are going to be spending a week at the Rock of Ages lighthouse this summer. Any one else get in?

Thread bump- how was your experience? We had the pleasure of meeting two of the project leads at the Ranger Station during our visit this summer, seemed like great people with a solid plan.
