CGC Alder enroute

CGC Alder currently enroute to IR .... to set bouys I would guess, another season is upon us.

Sounds like the weak winter and warm temps recently have allowed them to get out there early this season. I remember watching them from the dock in Malone Bay two years ago while they put buoys in the channel:

Wow June 6th is pretty late. I went through that channel on the 18th that year and was glad to have the bouys.

I paddled right up to them near Rock Harbor Light last May.

Be very cautious doing that in most other circumstances or locations, especially if the Marine Security Threat level is high. :shock:
