There are new postings on the current study that go up to February 4th (I did not receive an email update). Not good news. :(

Greg, Great to see you on the board! Depressing news about the wolves.

On another subject, I enjoy your book "Superior Journey" and I've been meaning to buy your "Isle Royale Memories" book

I think it's a bit early to say that.... They've only been out for a short bit and now don't have any live radio collared wolves. There were 5 in a pack on west end by Feldtman area. One of those is the deceased collored wolf so that one is dead (assuming there is no malfunction in the collar and the yet I recovered wolf is really dead).

The (2) loners are likely the last remnants of the formerly mighty Chippewa harbor pack.

wow. Looking at the 2 that came over and then comparing them to the pics of the existing wolves is a real eye opener.
