I too am doing a similar trip in a couple of weeks. flying in to windigo Sat 5/23 then leaving RH the following friday.We plan on fishing alot so any fishing feedback you get regarding the float tube will be interesting.

Thats a good idea. I will contact the ferry today.

I will be there in third week of may. I am told the windigo store will not open till 6/2/09. where can I get fuel (butane for jetboil)?

I have a jeboil unit which uses 3.5 oz butane canisters. does the ranger have these on the island? we are flying in and fuel is not allowed. The windigo store will not be open when we get there.
