Wheeled Transportation
Wheeled vehicles (except for non-motorized wheelchairs) or other
mechanical forms of transportation are not allowed outside developed areas
at Rock Harbor and Windigo. This includes bicycles and portaging devices.

Personally, I would do Itinerary 2 only because I have never been to Lane Cove and I'd want to get the climb out of the way early in the trip. ☺

I think either is doable. Here are the thresholds:
Title: NewbieCake: 0-49
LNT Expert : 50-99
Trailblazer: 100-199

IMO it overshadows the point of the calendar. I do think it provides valuable information though. How difficult would it be to create and maintain a 'Transportation' calendar that could be referenced?
