I'll guess Lane Cove. Water seems low however.

Re: Any help? Looking for trip planning
You've got a great week planned; lots of fantastic fishing opportunities. Have you considered canoes? This route really is perfect for them. Easy to fish from and easier to portage than kayaks. They rent them in rock harbor with portage yokes.

Carp on the Island
Some of you may already know this but the common carp is found around Isle Royale. I've seen them and even caught one. Chippewa Harbor and Hay Bay are locations I have seen them. You wouldn't think of carp as being a fish that would explore the icy waters of Lake Superior and end up out there ...
pelicans
Just by chance, has anyone ever seen or heard of pelicans at Isle Royale? I could have sworn I saw two flying westbound near the north end of McCargoe Cove last summer. I've spent plenty of time in the gulf region so I think I'm certain of what I saw. It really surprised me. Tommy D.

Re: Fish Pictures from June Trip
Beautiful Northern - it looks like you had fantastic fishing! I'd love to share some of my photos but someone will have to enlighten me on how to attach pictures to my message as I'm not sure I've got this figured out.
