Do you have the GPS coordinates of the wreck? Those photos look great. Glad you had a fun and safe trip.

Any Food Drop Experience?
Has anyone done a food drop at Isle Royale before? I will be doing a 2 week circumnavigation this summer, and I will need a drop at Windigo. The website's instructions on it are very unclear. They said I should give a 3 day window for when my package could arrive at the island. Do I really have to ...

Siskiwit Lake Portage to Superior
Is there a portage between the two by Malone Bay? The map that i'm looking at shows a general trail, but it doesn't look like an offical portage. It also shows a small creek/river flowing between the two. Is it possible to flow right into Siskiwit lake from the Lady in a kayak? I'm going around the ...

Re: Kayaking Layers: WetSuit or DrySuit?
Hey Damon I would say moderately experienced. I did the apostles a few times, and have done a few trips out in Lake Michigan. I have a solid roll, but like everyone, it has it's on and off days. I'm doing a 2 week solo circumnavigation, which should give me plenty of time to take a stall day in case ...

Kayaking Layers: WetSuit or DrySuit?
Planning for a 2 week kayak circumnavigation in Mid-June. With the temperature of the lady herself (freezing) and as you should always plan on spending a considerable time submerged, especially in rough seas, what do you experienced persons suggest? I was planning on a Farmer John type Wetsuit with ...

Re: Water filter recommendation?
I currently use a Platypus GravityWorks and i can tell you it is simply the best water filter i have ever used. It filters 4 liters of water in about 5 minutes. It's super easy to set up and take down and is about as compact as a regular pump. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Re: Backpacking Lunch
Pita Bread, Cream Cheese, Cucumber, and Summer Sausage. You have to eat it rather early in the trip, but it is still the best lunch in the world.

Basic Fishing Supplies
Hello all, I will be taking a big trip to Isle Royale in mid-June. I will be doing a circumnavigation of the entire island, with a few interior lakes here and there. I'm hoping to catch some fish on the interior lakes, mainly just anything i can eat. I've fished before, but mainly just Bass, Perch ...
