At about lunch time, I put how ever much water required to hydrate the meal in a mountain house package. Seal the package and put it between your back and the pack. By dinner time it will be re-hydrated and kinda sorta warm.

I used to eat oatmeal every morning. I now am in my pop tart phase. Two each morning, breakfast of champions.

Hi all. Just found this forum. Looks good, I hope to find out all kinds of things about IR. I plan on doing a short 5-6 day hike in September.
