I was thinking before I left I want to go back in the fall! But I want to do it right, camp, hike, fish, and not carry a toddler!

But I need to get a tent, sleeping bag and pad.


Money and time are the issue. Not motivation or desire to return.

I just got back Sat. Not sure where your looking to fish. I was in Windigo. They had Washington Creek closed due to the Loons. But I did spend a few hours casting off the docks there. I'm far from a great lakes fisherman (Love the St Croix and there Smallies!!) But I did have what I think was a lake...

We made it!! I will do a trip report in the next few days. All I can say is I understand why this is the most revisited park we have! I have been to Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Yosemite among others.
