dates have changed once again now we are going July 31-August 6, wouldn't be a trip unless we changed the dates multiple times

We are doing about half of your trip in the opposite direction. We are taking the water taxi to McCargoe Cove on Aug 2 and then through the lakes to Chippewa ...

As you come into Siskiwit Lake from the Intermediate Portage, there are groups of Islands you will paddle through that sometimes are the hunting grounds of lake trout. Also fish the area where the channel opens into Wood Lake, good luck!!!

Canoe loading on the Queen IV and water taxi

Can someone tell me how they load canoes on the Queen IV and on the water taxis? Do they load them upside down or right side up? Do you just use bungee cords or velco and strap your paddles and fishing poles inside the canoe, or do something different?
