So I’ve been to the island a number of times since 1992 but it’s been about 7 years since my last trip. Too many places out west and internationally to backpack but couldn’t wait any longer to get back to one of my favorites.

I suppose you could. I tip my cabbie but I fly American Airlines nearly every week and never thought to tip the pilot.

I think I’d feel safe that if it’s just the two of you there will be no problem getting a site on a Tuesday in late August. Don’t stress it!

Mio Sport is a good idea, I will have to try that sometime. Skratch also makes some good chews. I swear by Ultima electrolyte powder. I cramp up a lot after long days cycling or hiking and this stuff has totally cured me. Also zero sugar which is a plus when you want to rinse all the residue out for ...

No way to really know how crowded it will be in advance.
