I'll try and post my trip report a few days after getting home. I'm opting to not do a supply drop for my similar trip and needless to say my pack is heavy! If you can make a drop work it's keep your weight down.

Just finishing up a four day trip in northern Michigan, the head-net saved the trip, thanks head to ISRO next week, can't wait!

Last year I on the top of the tower at Mt Ojibway I had 2-3 bars of LTE service. I made a few phone calls and was even able to upload a couple photos to FB. I was using an iPhone 6 with Verizon as the carrier.

Thanks for the report and letting us know about Lane Cove, I'm still debating on giving it a try, but the prospect of wet feet before I climb up that hill on my way out is feeling less and less appealing.

I'll be doing roughly the same route in July, to include going from Todd Harbor to N Lake Desor. I've been told that'll be the hardest stretch of my trip. I'll try and have a trip report up by late July and hopefully that can help you out.

I just re-uped on alpineair for this summer. Yeah it's not the most tasty, but buying it at $4.50/meal helps my budget out. As long as I throw in a couple mountain house biscuits and gravy I'm a happy camper.

I heard rumors of this while staying at McCargoe last year. Any idea how much water is covering the boards? I was just looking at this years trip and trying to find a way to squeeze Lane in. It was my first ever overnight on the island and I'd like to go back.
