Folks,
I've been perusing the site looking for reflections from fellow hammock campers on specific sites that may be hammock friendly. I've started to compile that information as well as I can on an excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is very rough, but a start and from what I can gather a one-of-a ...

Re: Friday-Monday from Rock Harbor thoughts
MIdwest Ed, thanks for the reply. It was a gentle reminder that I should mine the trip reports. Also, I hadn't thought of hauling in the calf boots and now I'm really re-thinking my gear list as this may be an entirely different trip than the usual (keep it light and rock out miles).

Re: Friday-Monday from Rock Harbor thoughts
Thanks for the replies.
I hadn't thought of renting a canoe ... I'm going to check it out!

What would you do on a Friday/Monday trip in mid-May, starting in Rock Harbor with hikes of less than 15 with a day to relax?

Re: Feedback on May 27-31 Hike
This is all great feedback ... thanks so much!
I've thought about Lane Cove on Day 1 (my route above to Daisy IS a big up and down right off the boat). However, it's a long trek from Lane Cove to West Chickenbone or McCargoe, isn't it (13 miles)? I can do it, but I tend to like to keep my mileage ...

First, thanks to all who contribute to this forum. It has been a great resource as I plan my first trip to Isle Royale.
