My buddy called the Houghton office and was informed that they are not closing the park. So, our trip is still on.

Someone took the info in the links shared above and jumped to the conclusion that they were shutting everything. It's 2020 - VERIFY EVERYTHING!

I've made a couple of day trips so far this year, and have a 5-night trip planned for August 9-14. Yesterday I got a call from a traveling partner who said that the park was going to close down again on August 11. I can't find any verification of this.
