The Sandy will go as far as Malone Bay and they are flexible so I am am sure they would purposely swing by the light. It is a bit expensive though. They list prices on their website at: http://www.isleroyaleresort.com/ under "Water Taxi" I can agree with all and vouch for Don and his chart...

As of September 25th, the dock looked the same as your picture.
Also, not sure it has been mentioned, the eastern dock at Three-mile was in the process of being rebuilt in September.
