On a related note. Is there room for campers on Beaver Island ? or is it just a dock for people sleeping in their boats?

Great report. My daughter and I did the Minong last year, so your report brought back a flood of memories for me. That was a tough trail, but well worth it. I'm glad I can claim I hiked it.

You could do the Feldtmann loop. My daughter and I did this in 4 days and 3 nights several years ago.

Sounds like swimming should be fun this year.

Thanks Tom. It was a beautiful outlook which faced North. It reminded me of the overlook on the Feldtmann Ridge trail before you dropped down into camp.
