I've got a couple questions about about applying for the Artist in Residence Program for 2016, the biggest being if anyone knows if they're bringing it back. I've never done or applied for and AIR before so any advice is going to be greatly appreciated.
How long should my statement of purpose be? Right now the one I have is about 1/2 page, which feels like a good length but I just want to make sure.
The public presentations, are those one per week or one for each week on the island (i.e. 3 weeks on the island, 3 presentations in total)? What do artists usually do for their presentations? Talk about their experiences on the island, share their artwork and the story behind it or something else?
Thanks in advance for any help and input!
