This is a big deal. This plan has been decades in the making. Thanks for posting it, John.
All: if you enjoy the history and culture of Isle Royale, you'll want to review this document and provide any public input soon. The outcome of this plan could massively affect the buildings, history, people, and landscape of Isle Royale.
Bottom line: if you want to see the island's buildings (lighthouses, cabins, fisheries) maintained, then read and COMMENT!

Thanks for your's and all the good folks from ROA's lightouse team. These volunteers have been spending their vacations "working" to restore/maintain the Rock Of Ages Lighthouse on the west end of IR. Great work being done. Consider Volunteering or donating to support the work. Perhaps fonix will share insight into the volunteer experience with the ROA crews (he has done this 3x now).fonixmunkee wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 8:46 am This is a big deal.
