Seaplane Times & Capacity...

Daydreaming about getting to the island this year. I've haven't taken the seaplane before and had a couple questions that aren't readily answered by their website. Hope someone here might know. I did message them as well, but my daydreaming is impatient...

What is the max number of people the seaplane out of Houghton can carry?

What is the latest time of day one can schedule the seaplane for a trip over? I'd prefer to drive up and hop right on the plane (i.e., no hotel stay).

4pm is the last time slot.
I think it has a weight limit and one time we had 6 passengers.

Thanks. I also received a quick response from Isle Royale Seaplanes. They have 3 aircraft ranging in capacity from 4-7 (dependent on weight). The latest flight out of Hancock is 4pm.

I love Isle Royale Seaplanes and take them when I don't have a kayak, but have a backup plan just in case weather sets in and they can't fly.

max I have seen was 7! Smallest was 4 for me. They go by weight.
