Inbox/Outbox/Sentbox

Each box allows up to 25 messages to be stored in them. If I exceed the amount because I forget to delete messages to make new room for more incoming and outgoing messages, will it just automatically delete my oldest messages or will it not allow me to get new messages that people are sending me or that I am sending out?
