Yep, Merritt Lane.

Ingo, you're up next.

Well that was a total guess, by process of elimination. I assume that's in front of the tent site? I'm traveling so someone else can put up.

Here's one. Or two.

These should be easy enough.

Merritt Lane is on my itinerary in June and I haven't been there before. Treeplanter, your picture added to my anticipation! I have a picture that may or may not stump most of you but I have already put up more than my share of pictures, so I'll wait until I guess correctly on someone else's picture.

Looks like a lighthouse in the distance. Is this the south shore?

Merritt Lane is a beautiful campground. Very picturesque setting. Being that it only has one shelter and one tent site, it’s normally always occupied. Last August, we were on a day paddle, and were surprised to find the campground totally empty as we went by. So we stopped and had lunch on the dock.

I am going in June and while I would love to get the shelter, I will be happy to camp at the tent site. I am really looking forward to the trip. I will be paddling down Rock Harbor to Moskey, and then the inter lakes route and eventually finishing at Malone Bay.

As for the two pics Jrwiesz posted, my guess it's Malone Bay, looking out at the Menagerie Island lighthouse.

So I have to ask, how many here will appreciate it when Google Street View finally gets around to documenting (or whatever word they use for it) all the trails of Isle Royale? I think it will be cool but I do have mixed emotions about it.

Sample of Grand Canyon Street View

Here's a "guess where I am" pic. First hint, we're between two landmarks.
