Ranger III Online Reservation System

You can now make Ranger III reservations for 2020, BUT the online system is being upgraded and won't be ready "for a month, or 2" (i.e. sometime in Feb.). This is not clear on the park website (at least not as of today--it lets you start the process).
So you'll need to call the Houghton office at 906-482-0984 in the meantime, but I was told I won't get a confirmation email until the online system is up.
And be patient when you call: it probably took 15+ min. Was very friendly, but new, staff, and maybe some confusion about their workaround. Presumably this will get better with time and experience.
