No camping on Mott to my knowledge. The park headquarters is there.

No camping and I doubt you would want to anyway - lots of Park Service housing and maintenance facilities. You can go there and walk around (I believe) and if you are there in the evening during the season you can buy pizza and ice cream at the rec center.

Has anyone hiked the trails of Mott Island? If so, how did you get there?

You'd need to rent a boat/canoe/kayak at R.H. I suppose. Imagine the water taxi could also drop you off, but hmmm, wait for you to take you back as the clock ticks? The most creative I can get is take the Ranger over, get off at Mott (I've done that, but with a canoe), hike the trails and then set up camp on the dock and see what happens, hoping that after the lecture from a very unhappy ranger someone takes you over to Daisy Farm. (NO FOLKS, I'M NOT SERIOUS!) Or if you're going to be in the area the end of Sept, so am I, with my canoe, and might be able to arrange a ride out there (PM me in the off chance).

Caribou or Tookers would be the closest to Mott to camp. Other than established campgrounds, camping on the islands of IR is not allowed.

I've camped at the Caribou and Tookers via a canoe. I guess I'll try getting to Mott that way as well. Thanks gentlemen!

The Mott Island trail is very nice. We did it in 2014. As we are sea kayakers getting there was no problem for us.
