I thought this was pretty cool. Backpacker Magazine has the Scoville Point Loop on their list of top 100 miles (of trail) in the National Park system.

We added it on to our itinerary after seeing that!

(this article was originally published in 2015 but it did not look like anyone had shared it in the forums)

Lovely walk and very scenic. We did it on my first trip to the island and really glad we did.

Absolutely worth hiking those 4 miles (and "coasting" is right -- especially after most of the rest of the island :)). It's an easy add-on for any morning or evening you're in Rock Harbor, waiting for a ferry.

Does anyone have access to the other 99 trails that are listed. If so could you post the link here?

Scroll to the bottom of the backpacker.com article. There is a link there.

I get it now. Thanks Midwest. I thought it was the best 100 trails at the National parks but it is the top 100 miles. I should’ve read things more closely. No wonder I couldn’t find 100 different trails.
