Bobcat1: we are staying at the Lodge. I love to hike...camp not so much.

We arrive at noon on Thursday and leaving on QIV on Sunday at 2:45. Or, as you say, perhaps a water taxi.
I'm pretty sure you can--see Midwest Ed's earlier post. Talk to the lodge when you check in. I too suggest doing the tour first and then hike back from Daisy Farm if you're up to it. But it's pretty likely that they'll drop you off on the way there if that's what you decide to do.

Thanks ever so much for taking time to help me. I am so very excited about this trip...it has been on my list for far too many years.

It has always been possible to have the MV Sandy drop you at Daisy Farm on their way back from the Rock Harbor Lighthouse stop. Unfortunately, this feature is not published so it could be that it was always at the discretion of the captain. You could ask the Lodge management to confirm but I suppose there is a slight risk they might say no and put a stop to it. I really doubt they would do it but since it is not officially published as a stop anything is possible.

thanks Midwest Ed! I'll check with the lodge when we check-in. Trying to have the schedule (depending on the weather of course) in place (there's 4 of us and 1 of me doing the planning). You have all been so very helpful. Thanks.

If you plan to wait until you're on the Island to ask, I suggest just asking the Captain on Friday night when you take the Raspberry Island trip.
