Just off the island. Daytime by the shore quite cold and very windy. Nicer inland. Freezing to near freezing at night. Great hiking weather and almost no rain. I will post a full trip report later

Enjoyed running into you at Chippewa Harbor. You should have hiked over to Malone Bay! Fresh fish dinners four nights in a row. I'm home now making the dinners I didn't eat there. Hooked up with four fishermen from Duluth. I caught a 28" pike and they caught trout and pike every day. Shelter 5 was fish buffet central. I never ate so much fish in my life.
