The NWS has new updated weather info for IR forecasts.

New for 2021, US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan has divided the park into four quadrants (SW, NE, NW, SE) and now reports weather for each. This forecast is useful for those exploring Isle Royale's land base.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) provides forecasts for different areas of Lake Superior. Isle Royale Lake Superior weather is best found from Saxon Harbor WI to the Upper Entrance to the Portage Canal, which includes the park. For those traveling to the park from Grand Portage, MN, Wisconsin, and Keweenaw, look at different forecasts on the site.
