Well, this isn't good news for the NPS' effort to re-introduce wolves to the park.

"Stuff" happens. Terrible for the wolf but I think the plan will proceed. They will do an investigation but it shouldn't slow things down much.

Ed & hooky, you are correct...this stuff happens. Unfortunately for the NPS, it's going to further steel the mindsets of those who were against this idea of re-introduction from the start. This was already a sensitive subject before it began, and this won't help diffuse the tension any.

I agree, it'll steel the mindsets of those that were against it, but I doubt it changes many minds. The decision was so polarizing that I don't think there were many people on the fence that would shift sentiment either way though.
