Berries

Post by HoosierHiker1202 »

Hey all, I think I know the answer to this, but I’ll ask anyways...I’ll be making my first trip to IR in late June. Any chance that there will be any berries in bloom at that point?

In bloom as in flower? Or producing fruit? You may see some Juneberry flowers, and fruit, up on the Greenstone. Maybe strawberry flowers too in openings. As for fruit, too early to see any Thimbleberry or blueberries, they come later on.

My fault...producing berries. I figured we’d be much too early, but thought I’d ask.

Not likely. August usually has quite a few.

I for one have always been miffed that there aren't Juneberries in June. Whatever happened to truth in advertising?
