Searchable database of all ISRO Structures

Post by Midwest Ed »

I stumbled across this NPS database of structures in national parks. Select "Michigan" and "ISRO" then click submit for a complete list of Isle Royale man made structures. It is also search-able by word or phrase. There is a wealth of historical information as well as pictures and the present status.

Edit to repair broken link.

It looks to be a great resource. I never knew there were so many documented outhouses.

Maybe the link deserves to be made a sticky note.

Originally I unsuccessfully attempted to discover what specific government office was responsible for the database with the ultimate goal of determining if they were open to assistance in "rounding out" the data, e.g. more pictures, adding GPS coordinates, etc.

Higher level pages are password protected with no specific office attribution.
