GPIR Lines awarded ferry service contract

We are pleased to annouce that we have the honor of being awarded the ferry service contract from Grand Portage, MN. This is great news for us and we would like to thank everyone for your support over the 50+ years we have making the trips to the island. As many of our passengers know I spend a fair amount of my off season working as a long haul trucker. While I enjoy the miles of seeing North America I was not ready to give up my summers on the lake and I am excited to have my dream job for ten more years. We look forward to beginning the next leg of our and yours journey to that special island we can’t get enough of. We are always looking for the right people to share the adventure with us as crew members. We have openings for deckhands for the 2019 season so if anyone has an interest or knows someone who might be sure to have them contact us.
