Thanks for the great video trip report! But no moose?!? Or just didn't make the video? They were all over the place when I was at Feldtmann the same time of year.

No. Unfortunately, not a single moose for us during the entire trip! The bummer was that after we returned I read dcclark's TR and discovered that they were practically serenaded all day by moose at Feldtmann Lake, only two days after we had left Feldtmann Lake.

I have seen them on most all of my previous trips, so it didn't bother me too much. But my friend, Dane, had never been to the island and I was hoping he would get a chance to experience seeing a moose wandering through camp.

Great reports, thank you for sharing. I'll be doing the same trip in reverse, but am so looking forward to the beauty and solitude. This will be my second trip and I'm hoping to see the moose that evaded me the first go-round.
