I thought it might be fun to bring a snorkel with me on my trip. How is the water clarity in the inland lakes, if I brought a snorkel would I be able to use it or is it a waste of space/weight? just wondering
Thanks
Snorkel

Can you swim faster than the leeches?

Re: Snorkel
I hate those leeches. I can remember being in the water at Huginnin Cove and they attached to my calves pretty quickly!

Haha
I didnt even think of that. So swimming in general is not a fun thing unless you like to pick leeches off afterwards. Are the leeches bad in all the inland lakes?

Re: Snorkel
If you hate them, then you probably shouldn't go. If not a big deal, then go for it (like me). I got a couple in Richie, and none in Wood Lake--however when paddling around we did see them so they are there.bac wrote:Haha
