It looks like it's east facing on an inland lake or in a cove on the big lake. Wood lake?

The campground is located on one of the Five Fingers.

I'll keep guessing; but, where did everyone go?

OK, if there's a shelter and you're looking east, then that's a north shoreline, so must be Belle Isle. Which was my first thought, but the blue sky in the upper right doesn't fit with my memory--I could swear the shore rises steeper than that around that side...

If the photographer is facing East then that would be a SOUTH facing shoreline.
I know of Finger Bay and can use my imagination but where are the Five Fingers defined?
The only possibility remaining is Merritt Lane.

Midwest Ed, yes, facing east, so it's a south facing shore. Pic probably taken late afternoon.

My interpretation of the Five Fingers is that they are composed of the peninsulas (roughly five) that make up the NE part of the island. The campground with shelter(s), is located on one of those peninsulas.

And if you were a young mother with a six month old kid, where would you go?

Is that Rock Harbor?
